All the emails we display to users are verified against a complex server verification process, involving these checks -
- Valid Format
- Mail server accepted the email
- MX-Records exist on this domain
- Mail server accepts all emails (catch-all server)
- Generic (role) email
- Disposable email
- Free email
Based on this verification process, we display a confidence score next to each email. A higher confidence score means the likelihood of that email bouncing is very low.
Here's a general guideline -
- 76% - 100%: Safe-to-send
- 51% - 75%: Risky-to-send
- Below 50%: Do-not-send
We charge only for emails with a confidence score of 90% and above. We are proud to guarantee that no more than 5% of the verified email addresses that we charge you for, will bounce. Click here to learn more about our accuracy guarantee.
